For most of my life, I wanted to find a way to make a real difference in the world. Each year, it seemed like corruption grew stronger while fewer people were willing or able to help stop it.
I wasn’t interested in helping just a few people. I wanted to make a positive impact on a much larger scale. The problem was that the goal felt overwhelming, and I had no idea where to begin.
Over time, I realized that one of the best ways to strengthen our future is to invest in the next generation. That’s why I’m passionate about helping students prepare for life after graduation. When young people develop strong leadership skills, good character, and sound decision-making abilities, they can create positive change wherever they go.
I’ve spent more than 30 years in the American workforce as an employee, leader, manager, and small business owner.
During that time, I’ve helped hire, train, and develop hundreds of employees while gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by both employers and employees.
Those experiences taught me that strong leadership is often the key to better performance, stronger workplace cultures, and long-term success. That realization inspired me to create Ricky T! Academy, a place dedicated to helping students prepare for work, life, and beyond.
Throughout my career, I’ve helped businesses improve leadership, strengthen employee performance, and create more productive workplaces. I’ve developed training programs, improved communication, increased accountability, and helped teams work together more effectively.
My greatest strength is building trust between leaders and employees, reducing conflict, and creating environments where people can perform at their best and achieve shared goals.
Today, I’m using Ricky T! Academy and the resources I’ve created to make a positive impact on a larger scale. By partnering with business owners, leaders, and future leaders, my goal is to help build stronger workplaces, stronger communities, and a stronger future.
